ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
I WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS MY APPRECIATION FOR THE ASSISTANCE OF SO MANY:
First, & foremost, I would like to express my extreme appreciation for the services provided by The Vision Center, Memphis
City Schools in the person of Robin Sutton. For so many years she has
been there as an aide to me & my predecessor, Reggie Lindsey. We could
not do the work of this organization without your significant contribution of time & talent. THANKS! Also, to Lev Williams: You know I love you, Man. Thanks for keeping me on my job, keeping me humble & keeping me in check when it
comes to fiscal responsibilities. To James and Ruth Broadnax for all
you have done to ensure that our guests were pleasantly entertained while in Memphis. To Lessie Hall of the Memphis Chapter for seeing to it that the behind the scene business was covered throughout the weekend. Also, TABM, I want to take this time out to thank you for answering the call for assistance with providing food & beverages for
hospitality for the weekend.
There are so many others worthy of thanks, however, I would be
remissed if I didn't thank Evelyn Hogue and Ruth Broadnax for all you have done this year to make our convention festive. Your work behind the scenes to ensure that ample door prizes were provided (whether we
worked hard at it or not) has made this year's effort of putting on a top-notch convention more successful than the previous year.
Finally, to Jason J.J. Meddaugh for taking out of his busy schedule as a student to be with us, THANKS, MAN! Not just that, he added a pinch of spice to this year's convention by providing an amazing
demonstration of the revolutionizing technology, the K-NFB Mobile
Reader. Thanks Peter Donnahue for your unfailing assistance as our Webmaster. Thanks to both of you. Also, to Tim Anderson for providing the sound equipment to make the quality of our broadcast superb.
To others who have made contributions to this effort that weren't mentioned, please know that your assistance/contributions (while they may not have been noted) are not forgotten. Please forgive me, knowing that your efforts were & are definitely appreciated. THANKS!
Michael Seay, President
